Jools who
is always referred to as "Mr. Jools", played his first gig with the band
at The Great British R&B Festival, Colne in August 2006.. He
is a gifted keyboard player, singer and song writer. He has made a powerful impact on the sound of the band and is an important
soloist. His burbling Hammond sound shows the influence
of the great Blue Note organists whilst his piano playing shows the more
traditional Chicago blues style.
As leader of Blues Move Mr. Jools has toured extensively throughout Europe & the UK. Recently tours include the Canadian blues singer
Diana Braithwaite, American blues artists Sherman Robertson, Steve
Arvey, Debora Coleman, Mud Morganfield & Alvin Youngblood Hart.
British acts he has worked with include Peter Green's Splinter Group,
Jo-ann Shaw Taylor, Ainsley Lister and veteran Mick Pini..
Mr. Jools is also Sugarkane's tour manager and plays a vital part of keeping the band on the road.
